27 janvier 2022To support our team in the USA, we have positioned Jerry Coggio in Nashville to bring his technical knowledge of the products and his marketing expertise. His mission has been highly focused on technical-commercial aspects, with marketing development aimed at distribution and the geographical positioning of commercial development areas across the vast American territory.
The AURA aid has helped structure the SUNAERO service offering (with high technological value); it has helped structure our market analysis and approach new clients while strengthening its new service offering. The MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) type service provision has thus been confirmed in the USA; it has significantly reduced the impact of the health crisis on our activity, as product sales were particularly affected.
The aid has therefore helped confirm our strategic orientations and greatly assisted in establishing maintenance hubs in this vast territory, representing nearly 60% of global activity.
This VIE mission and the associated AURA aid have been crucial in confirming a development model (the high-value technological MRO service provision) in a vast territory where competition is multiple and well-established. It has allowed us to validate our innovative service approach in situ with significant successes, which were particularly relevant as we navigated an unprecedented crisis.
The maintenance hub establishment model—at well-chosen sites based on local customer demand—is confirmed; the signing of partnerships with major clients proves this, and we now wish to deploy this model across the American territory. This approach will involve hiring technicians and managers to oversee the teams.
