18 octobre 2019THE CHALLENGE
Working behind the scenes of major global aeronautics groups and numerous air forces, Sunaero designs and develops solutions for fuel leak detection, repair, and sealing control. Founded in 1988, the company pursues two objectives to serve its clients: reducing downtime and optimizing maintenance procedures.
THE IDEA
« We have developed Wings’up, a digital tool similar to a CRM, to organize a client’s maintenance operations remotely from our sites in Genay, Nashville, and Malaysia, » explains Thierry Regond, Vice President of Sunaero. « From a tablet or computer, our technicians can control and assist operators: from the diagnostic phases to the certificate of conformity, including the selection of necessary equipment. We thus offer a high-value-added service. » Tested with about a hundred clients, including Airbus, Air France, and Dassault, the innovation has received very positive feedback: « Easy to use, it compensates for the lack of qualification of operators facing cutting-edge technologies in constant improvement. »
THE ADVANTAGE
Wings’up can be extended to other fields, such as nuclear and rail. For Thierry Regond, the integration of digital technology opens the door to numerous innovations: « Exploiting aircraft data, for example, to have a predictive approach and greater rigor in maintenance. »
