Sunaero develops advanced technologies to detect and treat fuel leaks, but has mainly established itself as an essential maintenance service provider. This focus on services attracts aircraft manufacturers who are eager to reduce aircraft downtime and maintenance costs for production or maintenance operations.
Development Strategy
« We have two development goals. On one hand, we want to expand our service offerings with new skills; on the other hand, we want to innovate by adding complementary technological components to our solutions, » explains Jean Roussel. The president of Sunaero does not rule out making external acquisitions to achieve these objectives. The SME, which currently records €6 million in revenue, aims to reach €18 million by 2021.
To provide responsiveness, reliability, and controlled costs, Sunaero, which employs 48 people, half of whom are based in Genay, has two subsidiaries: one in Johor, Malaysia, and the other in Nashville, USA.
